If you change your thinking you change your belief. If you chance your believe you change your expectation. And if you change your expectation you change your attitude. When you change your attitude you change your behavior. And when you change your behavior (what you do/don't do) you change your performance. Changing your performance changes your life.
Underneath these prescription is the thought you bring to any given situation. Remember that thought concerns the way you perceive and process information that is filtered by your senses. The thought are processed and ultimately required for you to take a particular action ... performance. The result of the performance is a cumulative effect of the thought that have you put into the situation. In any meaningful accomplishment you need to direct your thoughts, feelings and action with laser focused concentration so that you can achieve what you set out to do.
Most of the time fear and doubt are the negative feeling that stops you in your thread to achieving what you have set out to achieve. It is important to know how these negative elements of thought could present themselves. They could appear in terms of considerations, obstacles, and road blocks. I want you to realize in the journey of any great accomplishment you are faced with these thoughts that are self -limiting. Also note that these negative thought need to be challenged each time they manifest. For the sake of pin-pointing the nature of these thoughts I have to elaborate more on their nature so as to high light their significance.
The considerations are those negative thoughts that affect you on the spiritual or mental level. It could go this way. "Poor me." I can't even handle this. Or you'll be focusing on what you don't want instead of what you desire to accomplish.
Know that the first step in realizing your desire is to have a definite purpose. Let your focus be on achieving this purpose. See to it that you know what you want to accomplish. Why you want to accomplish it, as this gives you tenacity and certainty to forge on.
The fear are those feelings that come to you of fear and doubt resulting from negative feeling that sabotage your progress. You don't need to focus on them but rather you need to identify them and change your focus.
The road blocks are those obstacle on your way on the environmental level that could hinder you from moving ahead. It goes like these... "I don't have, I don't know, and i don't think ..." These are mere reasons that stops you on the track of getting results.
Resolve to identify and challenge them so that you can achieve what you have set out to do.
At any moment in your life you have the power to change your mind. This is essentially the POWER of DECISION. You have the power to change the direction that your life is moving now. You can be transformed by the renewing of your mind. This transformation is key to great accomplishment.
In his book Awaken the Giant Within, Anthony Robbins suggested that for changes to be of true value they've go to be lasting and consistent. Excellence as we know is a habit. So if you want to achieve this excellence in being able to change you thinking and become 100% responsible for the result that you produce in your life you need to:
Raise your standard
Success is as a result of who you have become. In raising your standards your resolve to to decide who you want o become and this determined what. Who you are is a product of your thought process and you have the capacity to change and shift how you see yourself.
Change you limiting beliefs to more empowering beliefs
Having raised your standard you have to change the limiting belief of your past to more empowering beliefs. Your beliefs are like ideas that possesses you. It stem from how toy see yourself. It's in the realm of your attitude and value systems. You have to be in control of the part of your being ... your belief system since it shapes every action, every thought and every feeling that you experience. Develop the I can do attitude and the I'm worth it attitude. Empowering beliefs gives you a sense of certainty and this is a powerful force behind any all great successes in history.
Change your strategy
You need to keep your commitment, and you do this by seeking out the best strategies for achieving results. If you raise your standard and you super charge you belief from limiting to empowering then you will find the way to carry out your desire.
On the controlling your thought is like a battle, since you are always watching what go in, since they have impact on your results. In any system there is the input, the process and output. You thought mechanism is like that. It is a fundamental law of cause and effect. What would you give to get the results you want? How will you go about doing it? What results you want?
Your thought is you and the sooner you learn to develop and improve your thinking the better will be the output ... result of your thought.
